MDI Boys and Girls Soccer Shut Out in Presque Isle
The MDI Boy's and Girl's Soccer Teams took the long ride up Route 1A and Interstate 95 on Saturday, September 17th and both came away on the losing end of their games against the Presque Isle Wildcats.
The MDI Boys were shutout 1-0. Presque Isle scored off of a corner kick with 14:41 remaining in the 1st Half, and MDI was never able to equalize.
The MDI Girls were shutout 2-0.
The JV Girl's Soccer team defeated Presque Isle 2-1
The MDI Boys are 2-3-1 on the season and back in action on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Tuesday, September 20th the Boys play at Old Town at 3:30 and then Thursday the 22nd they take on Ellsworth at Ellsworth at 6 PM at the Ellsworth Football field. The MDI-Ellsworth game will be broadcast on WDEA Internet Radio and not on air, as the Red Sox will be playing.
The MDI Girls are 1-5 on the season. They play at Old Town on Wednesday, September 21 at 3:30 PM and then at Ellsworth on Saturday, September 24th at 12 Noon.
