The Husson Eagle's baseball team split it's doubleheader on Sunday, losing the first game 12-6 before winning the second game 6-3. The Eagles swept the Hornets on Saturday.

In the first game, Ben Walls, from MDI, was on the mound and lasted 3 innings, allowing 9 runs, 7 of which were earned. He gave up 13 hits and struck out 1 and didn't walk anyone. Former MDI Trojan Steven Hanscom pitched an inning in relief, and gave up 3 runs, all earned, allowing 3 hits and walked 1 batter. Jordan Carter, the senior catcher from Ellsworth was 1-4 batting with a RBI. He scored a run as well.

In the second game Jordan Carter was 1-3 batting, walking once and threw out a would be stealer.

Husson is now 22-13 on the season and 17-5 in the NAC. Husson has 6 games remaining in the season, all on the road. The Eagles play at Bates on Tuesday, April 21 at 3:30 PM.
