The Husson University Baseball team was in Vermont on Saturday, for the first of two doubleheaders against Lyndon State, and came up with the sweep, winning 11-5 and 3-1.

Former Ellsworth Eagle, and now senior catcher Jordan Carter had a great day at the plate. In the first game he was 2-4 batting, with 3 RBIs and he scored 2 runs. He also threw out a runner trying to steal a base. In game 2, he was 2-3, with a RBI and scored a run. He also threw out another runner trying to steal.

Husson is now 20-12 on the year and 15-3 in North Atlantic Conference play. Husson and Lyndon State are back at it Sunday afternoon for another doubleheader with games scheduled for 12 and 2:30.
