The Husson University baseball team split a doubleheader with New England College in New Hampshire on Saturday, losing the first game 4-0 before winning the 2nd game 10-2. Husson is now in 2nd place in the North Atlantic Conference with a 17-5 conference mark while Castleton has a 18-4 record. Both teams play doubleheaders on Sunday, Husson at New England College, and Castleton at UMaine Farmington.

In the 2nd game of the Husson doubleheader, Ben Walls pitched a 7 inning complete game for the win, allowing 9 hits, 2 earned runs and struck out 3 and walked 1. Jordan Carter was 2-4 batting with 3 RBI's.Walls is now 4-2 on the season.

In the 1st game Dan Whitney took the loss, allowing 4 earned runs on 5 hits. He struck out 4 and walked 1. Jordan Carter was hitless in the game, going 0-3.
