Two Ellsworth High School wrestlers, Senior Trent Goodman and Junior Peyton Cole did so well at the New England Championships in Providence, Rhode Island that their combined performance placed the Eagles in 18th place with over 150 teams competing.  Ellsworth finished in 2nd place for all Maine schools!

Goodman lost his first match but came back and won the consolation bracket, winning his next 6 matches to finish 3rd overalls. The 6th victory was his career 150th win. Goodman finishes his high school career with a record of 150-9.

Peyton Cole finished 4th. He made it to the semi-finals where he lost to the eventual tourney champion. With his 3 wins, Cole now is the all time career leader as a junior with 117 wins. His overall record is 117-16.
