The Boston Red Sox took a 4-1 lead on Johnny Gomes 3 run homer in the 6th inning in Game 4 of the World Series. The Red Sox are looking to tie the series at 2-2, with Game 5 tomorrow night, Monday, in St. Louis.
Gomes was not originally in the starting line-up, but was added when Shane Victorino was unable to play as a result of lower back stiffness.
David Ortiz scored for the Red Sox to tie the game in the fifth inning, on a sacrifice fly.
