The Road back to Bangor and the Senior League World Series starts tonight, Thursday July 21st for the Maine Senior League All-Star Team, the Acadians. They are down in New Jersey, and will play the host team, Glassboro tonight at 5 PM.

If the Acadians are able to win tonight, they would then play Friday, July 22nd at 2 PM against Rhode Island. If they lose, they will be in the loser's bracket, and would have a game against the loser of the New Jersey-New York game on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:30 AM.

The East Tournament is held July 22 – 28 and features State Championship Teams from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island as well as the Host Team . The winner of this Tournament will represent the East in the Senior League World Series will be held July 31- August 6 in Bangor at Mansfield Stadium

The 2016 Maine State Senior League Champions are Jacob Mitchell, Nick Stanley, Matt Perconti, Drew Shea, Andrew Kennedy, Anthony Lawson, Finn McConomy, Alden Fournier, Liam Sullivan, Oliver Johnson, Chris Horton, Noah Shulman, Parker Shortell, Eilon Zboray, Owen Mild. Seth Clark and Derek Collin.  The team is coached by Andy Pooler, Kyle McKim and Mac Shea.
