Sargent Leigh Guildford signed off for the final time  on September 8th.

Sargent Guildford retired after 41 years in law enforcement, and 43 years in public safety (2 years as a firefighter).

This was held at the Bar Harbor Police Department with many law enforcement personnel in attendance. In addition to members of the Bar Harbor/Mount Desert public safety staff, there were members of the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and Acadia National Park Rangers as well as retired law enforcement and freiends and family.

Congratulations Sargent Guildford on an outstanding career and thankyou for your service to our Island community for so many years!
