Ellsworth Fire Department to Host Open House October 14 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

October is National Fire Prevention Month, and National Fire Prevention Week is October 8th - 14th. The Ellsworth Fire Department is celebrating with an open house at the Fire Station at 1 City Hall Plaza on Saturday, October 14th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Open House is a perfect opportunity for community members of all ages to get to know the member of the Ellsworth Fire Department, learn about fire safety, and interact with the  dedicated firefighters and emergency personnel.

Aligned with the spirit of National Fire Prevention Week, the Department’s mission is to raise awareness about fire safety and empower residents with the knowledge to prevent fires. All are welcome to explore the inner workings of the Ellsworth fire station and discover the tools and equipment firefighters use to protect the Ellswowrth community.

Guests can enjoy refreshments provided by donation from generous local businesses. while learning about fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and get up close to the fire engines and life-saving equipment!
