Common Good Soup Kitchen Desperately Needs Delivery Drivers and Gleaners

Do you have a couple of hours to spare on Fridays or Sunday mornings? The Common Good Soup Kitchen, located at 19 Clark Point Road (Post Office Complex) in Southwest Harbor desperately needs drivers to deliver food boxes and gleaners to go to Hannaford in Bar Harbor and then bring the donated food to Southwest Harbor

Delivery routes typically take a hour or less. Right now drivers go out at 10 a.m. on Fridays, but that time might be able to be flexible based on your schedule Right now the demand for food is far greater than the capacity to deliver! They need 2-3 drivers!

They also need gleaners to go to the Bar Harbor Hannaford and then bring back the donated food to The Common Good in Southwest Harbor. Help is needed Friday mornings at 8 a.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Don't worry about experience here, as they'll teach you everything you need to know!
