The Boston Red Sox took 2 out of 3 from the Angels, blasting 4 home runs on Sunday afternoon, beating the Angles 12-2. The Red Sox come home for the Fenway Home Opener on Tuesday with a 7-3 record, and in 2nd place in the AL East.

In the 3rd inning, the Red Sox slammed 3 solo homers.

David Hamilton, called up when Trevor Story went on the 10-Day Injured List hit his 1st career homer.

Rafael Devers, with 2 out, hit his 2nd homer of the season.

Then Tyler O'Neill went back-to-back with Devers, hitting his 5th homer of the season.

In the 6th inning, the Red Sox scored 4 more runs, highlighted by Reese McGuire's 2nd homer of the season, a 3-run shot with 2 out. McGuire ended the day 2-4, driving in 5 runs.

Ceddanne Rafaela ended the day 2-3 with a triple and drove in 2 runs

Tanner Houck picked up his 2nd win of the season, going 6.0 innings, and allowing 4 hits. He struck out 7 and walked 2. Houck, now 2-0, hasn't allowed an earned run in 12.0 innings and has struck out 17 and walked just 2.

Chase Anderson pitched the final 3.0 innings, earning his 2nd save of the season. He allowed 4 hits and 2 runs, striking out 1 and walking 1.  Mike Trout hit a 2-run homer off of Anderson in the 8th inning, his 4th of the season.

Boston is off on Monday. They open their home schedule on Monday, April 9th, against the Baltimore Orioles. Brayan Bello 1-0 will start for the Red Sox, with the pregame beginning at 1:10 and first pitch at 2:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
