4 Running for Bar Harbor Town Council

The deadline to file to run for the Bar Harbor Town Council was Friday, April 26th at 5PM and there will be 4 names on the June 11th ballot.

There are 2 seats available. Those vying include in alphabetical order:

• Jeff Dobbs who is the Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee Chair and member of the Cruise Ship Committee
• Mathhew Hochman who is running for re-election and is the current Vice-Chair of the Town Council
• Peter St. Germain who is a Charter Commission member and former Councilor.
• Martha Searchfield who is a member of the Parking Solutions Task Force, member of the Cruise Ship Committee, Age Friendly Committee, Charter Commission, and Recycling Task Force,and is the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce.

Paul Paradis, who's term is expiring has elected not to run again.
