#2 Ellsworth Boys Beat #3 Winslow 3-2

The #2 Ellsworth Eagles beat the #3 Winslow Black Raiders 3-2 on Thursday night, November 2nd in a Class B North semifinal and will advance to play #1 seeded John Bapst at Hampden Academy on Wednesday, November 8th.

Ellsworth took a quick 2-0 lead, before Winslow got on the board, thanks to an Ellsworth own goal. Jacob Owen then scored to tie the game.

Ellsworth received goals from Cruz Coffin, Miles Palmer and the game winner was scored by Owen Frank. Kal Laslie assisted on each goal for the Eagles.

Cooper Mitchell was in goal for Ellsworth and Max Spicer in goal for Winslow.

Ellsworth is now 13-2-1 on the season. Winslow finishes their season with a 12-3-1 record.

Ellsworth and John Bapst split the season series, with the Eagles winning 3-1 on September 5, and the Crusaders winning 2-1 in overtime on September 23rd.
