Wednesday, December 5th has been designated a National Day of Mourning in honor of the 41st President of the United States, President George Bush.
All federal offices, including post offices will be closed. Acadia National Park offices will be closed. All non-essential State of Maine offices will be closed, including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. If you had a driver's license exam scheduled for December 5th, it will automatically be rescheduled and you will receive a new date and time via mail. The stock markets will be closed.
Banks will be open.
