Unified Basketball Game and Staff vs. Students Basketball Game at Ellsworth High School

What are you doing on Wednesday, February 26th? There are 2 great events happening at Ellsworth High School on Wednesday, February 26th.

At 3:30 the Ellsworth Unified Basketball Team will take on Brewer. If you haven't seen a Unified Basketball Game you owe it to yourself to see one! It truly is Sports Done Right! You will laugh, you will cry and I will guarantee that you will smile the entire hour of the game. Plus there will be a dance party at half time and if you feel like it you can even go out onto the court and dance with the teams!

Every time I go to a Unified Basketball Game I feel like the Grinch and my heart growing 2 sizes that day!

After that, there will be a Staff vs. Students Basketball Game. Admission to that game is $5.00 with all proceeds being split between the Downeast Family YMCA and the Ellsworth Student Council.

If history holds true we may see some of the staff reliving their cheering days, and hopefully there won't be any injuries! Staff...Be sure to stretch! You're sure to hear plenty of smack talk!

Hopefully we will be there to take lots of photos of the Unified Game and the Staff vs. Students Game!
