Trojans Move to 11-0

The MDI Trojans traveled to Dover-Foxcroft on Monday night, January 16th, defeating the Foxcroft Academy Ponies 71-50.

Foxcroft Academy led 10-9 until MDI took the lead 11-10 with 4:20 left in the 1st Quarter, and the Trojans went on to outscore Foxcroft Academy 28-9 in the remainder of the 1st Half to take a 39-19 lead. MDI led 57-32 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI was led by Graham Good with a game high 25 points. Russell Kropff had 10 points and Derek Collin had 8 points. Gus Reeves drained a 3-pointer with no time left at the end of the 1st Quarter, and Aaron Snurkowski had a 3-pointer as well. The Trojans were 4-9 from the free throw line.

Foxcroft Academy was led by Hyatt Smith with 16 points with 2 3-pointers. Drew Dankert had 9 points with 3 3-pointers and Max Santagata had 9 points. Jeremy Richard had a 3-pointer. The Ponies were 8-11 from the free throw line.

MDI now 11-0 has games at home against Presque Isle on Wednesday, January 18th at 6 PM and Central on Friday, January 20th at 7 PM. Both games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

Foxcroft Academy is 2-9 and plays host to Presque Isle on Saturday, January 21st at 4:30 PM.
