Trojan Softball Team Falls to Old Town 3-0

The MDI Trojans Softball Team fell to the Old Town Coyotes 3-0 in Old Town on Wednesday, May 8th.

Old Town scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and added an insurance run in the bottom of the 3rd. Both teams had 5 hits.

MDI's Lindsey McEachern was in the circle and allowed 5 hits and 3 runs. She struck out 9 and walked 1 .

Olivia Albert was in the circle for Old Town, picking up the win. She allowed 5 hits, striking out 13 and walking 2.

For MDI Ruby Brown had 2 hits, a double and single. Lily Cook had a double and Lindsey McEachern, and Hannah Chamberlain each had a single.

For Old Town Jayden Cain had 2 hits, a triple and a single. Olivia Albert, Mikayla Kenny and Hannah Sibley each had a single.

MDI is now 3-4 and plays host to Foxcroft Academy on Thursday, May 8th at 4:30

Old Town is5-2 and is scheduled to play host to John Bapst on Friday, May 9th
