Trojan Softball Falls to Belfast 4-0

The MDI Trojans Softball Team fell to Belfast 4-0 on Wednesday, May 16th in Belfast, despite the fact that Trojan pitcher Lindsay McEachern allowed just 2 hits.

McEachern allowed just 2 hits and the 4 runs were all unearned. She struck out 11 and walked 2.

Belfast scored 2 runs in the 1st, 1 in the 3rd and 1 in the 5th. Maya Cunningham had a double and Karagen Stone had a single. Olivia Lovejoy had 3 stolen bases and Brooke Richards had a stolen base.

Brooke Richards scattered 3 hits for Belfast and struck out 11 while walking 4.

Hannah Chamberlain, Madison Thornton, and Maddie Neal each had a single for MDI.

The Trojans are now 6-5 and will play at Blue Hill against GSA on Thursday, May 17th at 4:30 PM

Belfast is 6-5 and plays at Medomak Valley on Friday, May 18th at 4 PM.
