Trio of Eagles Playing for Thomas Terriers Baseball Team
A trio of former Ellsworth Eagles will be playing for the Thomas Terrier's Baseball Team this season.
Nick Bagley is a senior at Thomas. He played in 26 games as a junior infielder/pitcher... Hit .225 with four doubles and 11 RBI... Totaled 10 runs on 16 hits for the season... Appeared in five games as a pitcher, starting in one... Threw 8.2 innings with a 4.15 ERA and three strikeouts.
Bradly Smith is a sophomore at Thomas. He played in 35 games as a freshman infielder/pitcher... Hit .237 with two doubles and nine RBI... Totaled 13 runs on 23 hits for the season... Appeared in five games, recording one save... Threw 5.0 innings with a 5.40 ERA and two strikeouts
Devin Grindle is a freshman at Thomas. He was a key cog in the Ellsworth Eagle's State Title run last year, when the Eagles brought home the Gold Glove.
Thomas begins their 2020 season with a trip to Florida on March 23rd when they will play 12 games between the 23rd and April 1st. They start the Northern part of their schedule on April 4th-5th with 4 games at Northern Vermont-Lyndon and have their home opener the weekend of April 11th-12 with 4 games against UMPI.
