Thursday December 20th Is the Deadline to Mail Cards and Boxes For Christmas
You better get to the Post Office soon if you are planning on mailing Christmas cards, or presents to loved ones so that they arrive prior to Tuesday, December 25th Christmas Day!
The Post Office is saying Thursday, December 20th is the deadline to mail letters and first class package service for arrival prior to Christmas. December 20th is the deadline to send priority mail packages.
If you procrastinate, and still want to stay on Santa's good list, you can mail something on Saturday, December 22nd, if you use priority mail express, but be prepared to pay extra!
Regardless, if you're heading to the Post Office bring a dose of patience, as the lines are long. Just look at it as an opportunity to meet some strangers and wish them Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
