Thanks for a Great Fall!

With the end of MDI Football's season this afternoon, our fall sport's broadcasting season comes to a close on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio. We have a huge winter planned, with 51 MDI and Ellsworth Basketball games scheduled to be broadcast, starting on November 27th!

In the last two months, September 7 - November 6th, we have had 71,183 different people visiting the WDEA website at least once! Our website is the ONLY place you'll find recaps and box scores of ALL the MDI and Ellsworth basketball games this winter!

We are incredibly lucky to be able to use photographs from Walter Churchill, Michelle Mahon and others, to enhance the stories I write, and I want to thank them again! Thanks to the Coaches, the Student Athletes, and the Schools who allow us unprecedented access.

Our success is thanks to you, who have listened to our broadcasts of MDI Football and Ellsworth Soccer on the radio and online. We can't bring you the games without the support of our advertisers!  Thanks to them, and to you.

We will have the schedule of the basketball games we will broadcast on our website in the next couple of days. Again, even though we won't be at all the games, because of the cooperation of the Ellsworth and MDI Coaches and the Athletic Directors, we will have box scores and recaps for all the games.
