It's been a great weekend for Team Maggie! As Alice Clair said earlier today, "It's Cells Gone Wild!" The morning update showed Maggie's Neutrophil count is 200. Once she has a count of 500 for three days in a row, then she will be considered engrafted!

Lucas, the superhero brother who donated the bone marrow is doing well. The spots where they took the bone marrow have healed, and his blood counts are doing great.

There were visits with the family, lots of hugs, and smiles. The entire family has loved looking at everyone's pictures! Mom commented that Maggie smiled and loved the roller derby picture tonight, and the baseball team!

From Mom, Lauren, describing the day

Well, she had a good day but is very sleepy..so people could pray for strength and energy. Also, she has moments of playfulness/seeming happy but is very agitated, angry and sad a lot of time and has anxiety about not being able to catch her breath due to the sores. So prayers that she will start to feel more like herself emotionally.

This is a long process. There will be good days and bad days. Thankfully, after a string of bad days, there now have been 3 great days!

Please keep praying. Prayers do work! They’ve made those little white cells grow, and those white blood cells are what’s making Maggie feel so good. The change in 3 days has been nothing short of miraculous!  Pray for a peaceful Sunday night and week ahead. Pray for a sense of calmness for Maggie, Lauren and the entire Rudnicki family. Pray that those white blood cells continue to grow, and grow quickly!  Pray for healing, pray for strength!

You can make a donation to help defray the medical and travel costs associated with Maggie’s care. Maggie has been down in Boston for 3 weeks. I know there are family going down this weekend to help Lauren and Maggie, but let’s face it, gas is expensive. If you want to make a donation, click HERE for the details

We now have over 100 photos of Team Maggie support up on the site. If you want to send your picture, you can upload it HERE or just click HERE to view them all. Please note, if you do upload them, they don’t appear instantly, as we are moderating all pictures, just to insure appropriate content. You can also send me your pictures directly at chris.popper@townsquaremedia.com.

More tomorrow. Keep the faith Team Maggie!
