One of my favorite traditions took place on Monday, June 9th, at the last day of school for the Conners Emerson students in Bar Harbor.

The teachers at the Conner Emerson School in Bar Harbor lined the entrance ways to wave goodbye to their students as the buses made a lap through!

I especially love the Zebra and Chicken waving goodbye!

Thanks to Taylor Hamor who takes a video of this tradition every year and sends it to me!

Remember that children are out of school now or will be done in the next day or two, as you drive! These children are our future!

I hope everyone has a great summer!

Hopefully when everyone returns to school in September, that the construction crews will have made some amazing progress and that the new school will be closer to fruition!

Remember with schools out or getting out this week, don't let your children have a case of the "I'm boreds!" The Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor, the Southwest Harbor Public Library and Northeast Harbor Library are all kicking off their free summer reading programs later this month.

Don't Miss These 9 Jaw-Dropping Bangor, Maine Concerts In July!

There are no shows for the next few weeks, but July is a busy month at Maine Savings Amphitheater!
