Just when you thought 2014 couldn't be going any better for former 'SNL' head writer, star, and current 'Late Night' host Seth Meyers, the former "Weekend Update" host will really have a weekend to handle. NBC has announced that Seth Meyers will make his Emmy hosting debut as the 2014 host of the 66th annual Emmy Awards, picking up from previous host Neil Patrick Harris!

'SNL' will take a bit of a break this weekend following 'Neighbors' star Seth Rogen's third time hosting, returning on May 3 with 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2''s Andrew Garfield, but consider the long-running NBC sketch comedy to have much larger plans in mind for the future: an epic, star-studded, three-hour broadcast in February 2015 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 'Saturday Night Live'!
