Authorities say a deer that was in the roadway on the Maine Turnpike caused major damage to three vehicles Tuesday evening.

Needless to say, in a state full of them, there are plenty of options for how to dispose of that piece of Christmas past.

The folks who run the pantry say that at its peak sometimes, there can be anywhere between 100 and 200 deer who come to feed along with dozens of wild turkeys.
