If you know someone visiting New Hampshire for the first time, you want them to have a great experience and leave with a positive impression of the place you call home.

As we Mainers know, the kickoff of "spring" on the calendar doesn't always align with springtime activities. That did not turn out to be the case this year, allowing disc golf, along with traditional golf courses, to start their seasons early.

Some people just don't know when to shut up.

The MDI Golf Team defeated Ellsworth and Hermon in the opening match of the 2022 Season at Kebo Valley on Wednesday afternoon August 24th. Here are the team and individual scores

The Hermon Hawks won the golf match at the Lucerne Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon, September 1st Hermon finished with a team score of 160, while MDI finished with 179 and Ellsworth 190. Hermon's Logan Scripture was the medalist with a low round of 38. Here are the individual scores

The Bangor Golf Team nipped MDI 180-181 at Kebo Valley Golf Course on Tuesday, August 31st. Ellsworth came in 3rd with a score of 227. MDI's Emily Carter and Bangor's Nate Tardy were co-medalists with a round of 42. Here are the individual scores.

The MDI Golf Team dropped their opening match of the season on Thursday, August 26th against Hermon and John Bapst. Hermon came in 1st with a low score of 168, John Bapst had a score of 170 and MDI finished with a score of 173.

The Ellsworth Golf Team dropped their opening match of the season at the Lucerne Golf Course on a very hot Thursday, August 26th. The team scores were Bangor 171, Brewer 193 and Ellsworth 199

The Sumner Memorial High School Golf Team won the Downeast Athletic Conference Championship played at the St. Croix Golf Club. Warren Harden from Sumner was the medalist with the low score of 84.
