Do you have a bunch of legos sitting around your home? Have you or your children outgrown the legos? Don't throw them away! I have the perfect solution for you to dispose of them, and in turn help make someone's holiday a little brighter!

Surry Elementary students are working with Markus Ford, one of their technology teachers. They are collecting legos, and will clean them with a mild detergent, and dry them. Legos are then boxed up and will be given to children in time for Christmas.

They are accepting all kinds of legos! You can donate duplo, blocks, kits, robotics, miniflags and mixed sets.

Donations may be brought to Surry Elementary School, 754 North Bend Road in Surry during regular school hours. They can often make special arrangements if you can't make it during those hours, and can arrange pick ups if necessary.  Please email mford@surryschool.org to arrange an alternate time. You can also leave him a message at the school at 207-667-9358.
