#6 Sumner Boys Fall to #3 Fort Kent 75-45 [STATS]

The #6 Sumner Boys Basketball Team fell to #3 Fort Kent 75-45 in a Class C Northern Maine Quarterfinal on Monday, February 16th at the Cross Insurance Center.

For Kent led 18-13 at the end of the 1st Quarter. Aden Jeffers had 12 points for the Warriors, while Logan Crowley had 8 points for the Tigers.

Fort Kent outscored Sumner 19-11 in the 2nd Quarter to take a 37-24 lead at the end of the 1st Half. Tobias Naranja had 3 3's for Fort Kent and Aden Jeffers had 8 more points. For Sumner Crowley had 6 points and Copelin Temple had 5 poitns with a 3-pointer.

In the 3rd Quarter Logan Crowly had 11 of Sumner's 13 points. Aden Jeffers had 6 more points for Fort Kent.

Sumner was led by Logan Crowley with 25 points including a 3-pointer. Copelin Temple had 7 points with a 3-pointer. Conner Eastman had 6 points on 2 3's. Carleton Dow had  a 3-pointer. Sumner didn't get to the free throw line.

Fort Kent was led by Aiden Jeffers with 37 points including 2 3's. Tobias Naranja had 13 points with 4 3-pointers. Sam Johnson had 2 3's. Dom Cyr had a 3-pointer. The Warriors were 12-16 from the free throw line.

Fort Kent will play the winner of the #2 Mattanawcook Academy - #7Orono quarterfinal in a Class C Semifinal on Thursday, February 19th at 2 p.m.
