Sunday, January 11th was a tough day for the Sullivan Fire Department, responding to a call of a car in the quarry, and subsequently with the help of the Maine State Police, recovering the body. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, and all involved in yesterday's call.

The men and women of the Sullivan Fire Department were at the call for an extended period of time, and the community rallied, bringing food and drink to those on the scene.

On Monday morning, Mike Pinkham II, the Sullivan Fire Chief posted the following on Facebook.
