Strong Winds Result in Power Outages Friday September 1st
As of 3:20 PM there were 700 Emera Maine Customers in Hancock County without power as a result of high winds and wind gusts.
The National Weather Service in Caribou this morning was advising that there were strong northwesterly winds gusting up to 35 to 40 miles per hour this afternoon and evening in Downeast Maine.
The greatest outages were in the Blue Hill, Brooklyn and Sedgewick area.
