The Boston Red Sox winning streak came to an end Friday night, March 13th, when they fell to the New York Yankees 5-3.

Mookie Betts had another strong game for the Red Sox, going 2-3 and made a spectacular diving catch. David Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez each drove in a run.

Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello pitched well, going three plus innings, allowing three hits, two runs while walking one and striking out three.

The Red Sox are back in action Saturday afternoon at 1 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA. Henry Owens is slated to take the mound. Also expected to see action are Matt Barnes, Craig Breslow and Koji Uehara.
