Sox Lose On a Walk-Off
The Boston Red Sox lost their 2nd game in a row, losing to the Minnesota Twins Friday night in Minnesota, on Joe Mauer's walk-off homer off reliever Matt Barnes. The Red Sox lost 4-3.
Eduardo Rodriguez pitched well for Boston going 6.0 innings, allowing 3 runs, all earned on 7 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 1.
Andrew Benintendi was 2-5, blasting his 4th homer, a solo shot in the 3rd inning. Josh Rutledge, playing 3rd base was 2-4. Mookie Betts and Dustin Pedroia each hit a double for the Red Sox.
