The Southwest Harbor Public Library has some fun FREE kids events on the calendar for the month of February, including a Kids Scavenger Hunt, Valentine's Day Card Making, a Mardi Gras Party and Pokemon Club.

Kids Scavenger Hunt: Some chilly animals are bundled up and hiding around the library! Find all 10 and win a prize! Stop by the table outside of the picture book room for a checklist to this ongong scavenger hunt. Drop-in, all ages welcome!

Valentine's Day Card Making Station: Kids and their families are invited to stop by the library and make a card for someone they love during this week-long Valentine's Day event! Materials will be available on a table near the circulation desk from February 7th-14th during open library hours. No registration required.

Kids Mardi Gras Party: Kids, tweens and teens are invited to this special Mardi Gras event on Tuesday, February 17th, from 1 to 2 p.m. Make a shoebox "parade float" create your own masquerade mask and try some New Orleans-themed snacks! This event is for kids 6 and up. Please register for the event HERE

Pokemon Club: Kids 8 and up are invited to the library for the new Pokemon Club! Play, trade or meet with fellow trainers during this 1 hour program after school from 3:30 to 4:30. This program takes place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the each month, beginning February 11th. (So February 11th and 25th). Snacks are provided, registration encouraged HERE for February 11 and HERE for February 25
