Sonny Gray pitched 6.1 innings, allowing just 3 hits and Trevor Story drove in 2 runs as the Red Sox shutout the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0 to win back-to-back games.

Gray struck out 2 and walked 2 retiring 19 of the 24 batters he faced. He improved to 2-0 on the season.

Trevor Story was 1-3, with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning and a RBI single in the 7th inning. He has hit safely in each of his last 4 game, following an 0-16 stretch

Ceddanne Rafaela was 2-3, with a pair of singles and run batted in.

Willson Contreras was 1-4, and walked with the bases loaded to drive in a run.

Wilyer Abreu was 2-4 with a pair of singles and run batted in.

Greg Weissert retired the final 2 batters in the 7th inning. Tyler Samaniego, recalled from Worcester when Justin Slaten was placed on the 15-Day Disabled List pitched a perfect 8th inning striking out the side. Ryan Watson closed out the game, retiring the 3 batters he faced.
