Today is Day 5  of the Senior League World Series, with the top two teams from each pool playing cross-over games in the  semi-finals on Friday August 17th, and the Champion crowned on Saturday the 18th.

Yesterday's results

Montreal Canada defeat Grand Rapids Michigan 4 to 3, Brevard County Florida beat Auckland New Zealand 5 to 1, Lemon Grove California beat Emilia Italy 5 to 3 in extra innings and Guatemala City beat Auburn Massachusetts 12 to 2. With their victories, Lemon Grove California, the US West team and Guatemala City the Latin America team are guaranteed to play in the semifinals tomorrow.

Because of the rain, all games have been moved to Mansfield Stadium at the University of Maine. Games will start at 11:30 with the subsequent games starting 20 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game!
