Scott Phelps Scholarship

What a fitting memorial to Scott Phelps and you can help!

Andy Shea and Tony McKim have developed the idea of the Scott Phelps Memorial Athletic Scholarship which will be given annually during the Mount Desert Island High School's graduation. Acadian Youth Sports, which is the umbrella organization for the Acadian Football League, Acadian Basketball Association, and Acadian Little League will be giving out two $500 scholarships to a graduating MDI girl and boy.

The details of the requirements and application will be released to MDI High School soon. If you would like to donate to Acadian Youth Sports to support this scholarship please make your check out to one of the three organizations above (AFL. ABA, or ALL), put "Phelps Scholarship" in the memo section of the check, and mail to :
