Scam Alert Targeting Mainers Who Want to Support Their Fire Departments

There's another scam targeting Mainers. The "Firefighter Support Fund" is an out of state organization that has NO affiliation with any fire department or union in the State of Maine. They sound very convincing, but your money is just going out of state and won't benefit anyone locally

Save your money! If you want to support your local fire department, (and you should) contact your local Fire Department.
