Saturday April 17th – National Husband Appreciation Day

The things you learn listening to the Blowtorch of Downeast Maine, AM 1370 WDEA! The 3rd Saturday of April, which is today, April 17th is National Husband Appreciation Day!

Now before everyone goes crazy, yes, there is a National Wife Appreciation Day, which is the 3rd Saturday of September, which this year is September 18th!

So, now I just have to figure out how to get my wife to figure out it's National Husband Appreciation Day! I think when she asks me to wash the kitchen floor I'll just say but it's National Husband Appreciation Day. I already know what she'll say, Husband, I'll Appreciate It if You'll Wash the Kitchen Floor!"
