Rt. 3 Bar Harbor Work Plan Week Ending June 8

After 2 years of construction, the Bar Harbor Route 3 project is almost done. The extended work plan shows the project being completed next week, weather permitting! Here's the work plan for the week ending June 8

The 1 Way Detour utilizing the Park Loop Road is up and running. Please be mindful fo the flaggers and follow their directions

Contractors will be working in the following areas this week

• Placing ADA detectables from Highbrook Road to the Eagle Lake Road
• Paving Sidewalks and drives from the Crooked Road to the entrance of Acadia National Park
• Paving the surface from Pirate's Cove to the Crooked Road and from the entrance of Acadia National Park to West Street
• Landscaping from the College of the Atlantic to the Eagle Lake Road
• Painting roadway striping from Pirate's Cove to the entrance of Acadia National Park
