RSU 24 Offering Free Meals For Those Under 18 This Summer at 5 Locations

Many children and parents look forward to summer vacation. Let's face it, after the past 16 months, and the remote, hybrid and in-person education everyone deserves a break! But, unfortunately, this break from school means the end of free breakfast and lunch for students, and for some families the certainty that their children will receive 2 healthy, nutritious meals every weekday.

In talking to local food banks, we are told the demand for food is ever-increasing. That's why we were so happy to hear from Linda Mailhot, the Food Service Director from RSU 24.

She told us that all 5 schools in RSU 24 are offering free breakfasts and lunches every weekday for those 18 and under this summer

Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. and lunch is served from 11:00 to 11:15 a.m.

The 5 locations are
