Red Sox -Yankees Opening Day Postponed Until Friday

After the lockout and delayed start of the 2022 Baseball Season, I guess we can wait 1 more day for the Red Sox to begin play! Opening Day, scheduled for Thursday, April 7th has been postponed because of the threat of inclement weather.

Friday, April 8th was a scheduled off-day for both the Red Sox and Yankees, so Major League Baseball has rescheduled the game for Friday. So if you were planning on calling in sick or taking Thursday off to listen/watch the game, get to work, and take Friday off!

Pregame will begin at 12:05 with the 1st pitch at 1:05 p.m. Hear all the Regular Season games on AM 1370 WDEA

Boston will send Nathan Eovaldi to the mound to start, while New York is expected to send Gerrit Cole to the mound

In Tuesday's final Spring Training game, Boston beat Minnesota 10-8 to end Spring Training with a 11-8 record and win the series with Minnesota 4-3.

Michael Wacha went 4 innings allowing 6 hits, 6 runs, striking out 6 and walking 3. He gave up 3 homers.
