The Boston Red Sox will take on the New York Yankees on Tuesday, March 3rd in Spring Training action at 1:05 p.m. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA with the pregame starting at 1 p.m.

Yesterday the Red Sox tied with the Detroit Tigers 11-11. They entered the 5th inning with a 7-1 lead and led 11-5 going into the bottom of the 9th, when the Tigers rallied for 6 runs.

The good news yesterday was that Ryan Webber (3 innnings), Matt Barnes (1 inning) and Colten Brewer (1 inning) allowed 0 earned runs through the 1st 5 innings combining to strike out 9 and didn't allow a walk.

Both Bobby Dalbec and Marcus Walden hit a 3 run homer, while Connor Wong hit a 2 run homer.

Tuesday the Red Sox will send LHP Marin Perez to the mound to start. Also expected to pitch are LHP Josh Taylor, RHP Austin Brice, LHP Josh Osich, RHP Domingo Tapia and RHP RJ Alvarez.

The Yankees  are expected to counter with RHP Mashiro Tanaka, LHP Zack Britton, RHP Adam Ottavino and RHP Clarke Schmidt

The Red Sox are 4-5-2 while the Yankees are 6-3-1 entering the day.

Wednesday the Red Sox will play Detroit again with the pregame starting at 1 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA
