The Boston Red Sox's bullpen gave up the lead 3 times and Javier Baez hit a pair of 3-run homers including the game winner in the 11th inning as the Detroit Tigers beat Boston 10-9 Tuesday night.

The Red Sox hit 3 homers in the game, including Kristian Campbell's 5th homer, a 2-run shot in the 11th inning to put Boston up 9-8.

Alex Bregman hit his 10th homer, a solo shot in the 4th inning.

David Hamilton 2-4, hit his 2nd homer of the season, a 2-run home run in the 8th.

Nick Sogard playing 1st base was 2-5 with a double.

Jarren Duran was 2-6 with a double.

Rafael Devers was 0-6, striking out 3 times.

Boston's batters struck out 15 times, leaving 10 men on base.

Brayan Bello started for Boston and went 4.2 innings, allowing 6 hits and 3 runs, striking out 4 and walking 1. Justin Wilson retired the lone batter he faced in the 5th inning. Garrett Whitlock allowed a 3-run homer in the 6th inning, striking out the side. Brennan Bernadino pitched the 7th inning allowing a hit and striking out and walking 1. Justin Slaten pitched the 8th, striking out the side. Aroldis Chapman pitched the 9th striking out 1. Garrett Weissert took the loss, allowing 3 hits and 4 runs in the 10th and 11th inning. He's now 1-1 on the season.

Boston slips back to .500 and is 22-22 on the season. Boston remains in 2nd place in the AL East, still 3 games back of the New York Yankees.
