Red Sox Crush Houston 14-1 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox crushed the Houston Astros 14-1, on Tuesday night, August 12th in Houston, scoring 5 runs in the 6th inning and blasting 3 home runs in the game.

Carlos Narvaez hit his 10th home run of the season, a 2-run homer in the 6th inning. He finished the night 2-4, driving in 3 runs.

Alex Bregman hit his 16th home run of the season, a 2-run homer in the 6th inning, against his former club. It was his 2nd home run in as many nights. He finished 2-5 with 2 runs batted in.

Roman Anthony hit a solo home run in the 8th inning. It was his 4th homer of  the season. He finished the night 1-2, scoring 4 runs, walking 4 times.

Wilyer Abreu was 2-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in 3 runs.

Boston's bats rapped out 13 hits, with every starter having at least 1 hit in the game.

On the mound Dustin May picked up the win and is 7-8 on the season He went 6.0 strong innings, allowing just 5 hits. He struck out 8 and walked 1.

Justin Wilson pitched the 7th inning, allowing just 1 hit.

Jovani Moran made his Red Sox debut, and pitched the 8th and 9th innings. He allowed 3 hits and 1 run, striking out 2 and walking 1.

Boston is 66-55 and in 2nd place in the AL East, 4.5 games behind the Toronto Blue Jays. The Red Sox own the 2nd Wild Card Playoff spot.

Boston and Houston will play the final game of the 3-game series Wednesday night, August 13th. The pregame starts at 6:10 with the 1st pitch at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
