Red Sox Slam Their Way to Win Over Royals 10-6 [VIDEO]
The Boston Red Sox won their major league leading 21st game on the last day of April, beating the Kansas City Royals 10-6. It was their 12th come from behind victory with the key hit coming off the bat of Xander Bogaerts who hit his 2nd Grand Slam of the season, the Sox's 6th of the year!
Bogaerts ended the night 3-5 with the 4 RBIs after hitting the Grand Slam in the bottom of the 3rd.
Mitch Moreland, playing 1st base and batting cleanup was 3-4 for the night with his 3rd homer of the season. He also doubled.
JD Martinez was 2-4 with a double.In his last 6 games he is 11-22 batting .500 For the season he's hitting .337
Eduardo Rodriguez lasted 4.0 innings allowing 5 runs, all earned on 5 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 3. Hector Velazquez pitched 2 shutout innings allowing just 1 hit and striking out 3 for his 4th win of the season.
