The Boston Red Sox are just 1 game away from winning the 2018 World Series after coming from behind Saturday night and beating the Dodgers 9-6. The Red Sox were trailing 4-0 going into the top of the 7th inning.

Things looked bleak for Boston after the Dodgers scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th including a 3 run homer off of Eduardo Rodriguez by Yasiel Puig.

But, in the top of the 7th Mitch Moreland stroked a 3 run pinch hit homer to make it 4-3. In the 8th Steve Pearce hit a sole homer to make it 4-4. Then in the top of the 9th, the Red Sox added 5 runs, including a 3 run double by Pearce to give the Red Sox a 9-4 lead.

In the bottom of the 9th, the Red Sox faithful were on the edge of their seat as reliever Craig Kimbrel gave up a 2 run homer before getting the final out to preserve the win.

The Red Sox will send David Price to the mound Sunday, in the hopes of winning the series in LA. The pregame starts at 7PM and first pitch at 8:09 on AM 1370 WDEA.
