Andrew Benintendi had 3 hits (double), JD Martinez had 3 hits with 2 doubles, Ian Kinsler had 3 hits with a double and 2 highlight fielding plays including a play that had first baseman Pearce smiling wondering how he did it.

Jackie Bradley Jr. had a double and it was his dash to home that sparked the 8 run 4th inning.

Brian Johnson pitching in place of ace Chris Sale won the game going 5.0 innings allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. He struck out 11 and walked 2. He gave up homers.
