Justin Wilson pitched the 9th inning, allowing 2 hits and striking out 2.

Trevor Story put Boston on the scoreboard with a solo homer in the 2nd inning. It was his 21st home run of the season, and his 200th career home run. He finished 2-4.

David Hamilton was 2-3 with a double and a solo home run in the 3rd inning. The homer was his 4th of the season. He drove in 3 runs in the game.

Roman Anthony, batting leadoff was 2-4.

Boston was 1-6 with runners in scoring position and left 4 runners on base.
