Red Sox Fall to Blue Jays 8-5 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox's 6 game winning streak came to an end Thursday, August 9th as the Red Sox fell to the Blue Jays 8-5 despite Mookie Betts hitting for the cycle and JD Martinez's 35th homer of the year.

Rick Porcello struggled on the mound, lasting just 4 innings, allowing 7 runs, giving up 6 hits, 2 of which were homers. He struck out 5 and walked 3.

Betts was 4-4 with a single, double, triple and homered in the 9th inning for the cycle. He drove in a run and walked once.

Eduardo Nunez was 3-4 with 2 RBI's and a stolen base.

The Red Sox lead the New York Yankees by 8 games, after the Yankees beat the Texas Rangers 7-3.
