The Boston Red Sox fell to the Houston Astros 8-4 on Friday night, August 9th as the bullpen allowed 7 runs and the Red Sox batters struck out 12 times.
Tanner Houck started for Boston and went 6.0 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He struck out 1 and walked 3. But there it was all-downhill as 4 relievers allowed 7 runs and 12 hits

David Hamilton was 1-2 hitting a 2-run double in the 3nd inning.
