Red Sox Fall to Astros 8-4 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox fell to the Houston Astros 8-4 on Friday night, August 9th as the bullpen allowed 7 runs and the Red Sox batters struck out 12 times.

Tanner Houck started for Boston and went 6.0 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He struck out 1 and walked 3. But there it was all-downhill as 4 relievers allowed 7 runs and 12 hits

Nick Sogard making his 1st start at Fenway, was 2-3 with a double.

David Hamilton was 1-2 hitting a 2-run double in the 3nd inning.

Jarren Duran was 2-4 with a double. He leads the team with 40 multi-hit games, 3rd most in the American League.

Manager Alex Cora used all his bench players in the game, and had no one else to call on in the 8th and 9th innings.
